河北工业大学是一所以工为主、多学科协调发展的高校,一所坐落于天津市隶属于河北省的国家“211工程”重点建设高校,是由河北省人民政府、天津市人民政府和教育部共建高校,并于2016年入选河北省“国家一流大学建设”一层次高校,2017年9月入选国家“世界一流学科”建设高校。2022年再次入选新一轮“世界一流学科”建设高校。

河北工业大学外国语学院成立于2002年,现设有英语、日语、法语三个本科专业,一个翻译硕士学位(MTI)授权点。其中,英语专业是“国家一流专业”;法语、日语专业是“河北省一流专业”。

学院在职教职员工104人。专任教师中,正教授3人,副教授39人,硕士生导师18人,具有博士学位教师13人。在校本科生430人,MTI硕士生113人。学院重视科学研究,近五年,学院教师共有国家级项目5项,省部级项目18项,设有“应用语言学”、“外国文学与文化”和“翻译理论与实践”等研究方向。学院与多所国际知名大学签署了交换学习或联合培养项目协议,努力培养学生的综合素质,拓展学生国际视野,为学生的进一步深造及就业创造机会。

 

一、选聘条件

(一)基本条件:身心健康,精神面貌良好,无犯罪记录,无传染性疾病,无学术不端行为。遵守中国法律,尊重中国的社会制度和文化传统,不得在教育教学活动中散布违背中国法律法规和社会主义核心价值观的内容,恪守教师职业道德和行为准则,认同并遵守学校办学理念和相关管理规定。

(三)教育背景和工作经历:具有硕士以上学位和 2 年以上相关工作经历,获得相关专业博士学位的可不做工作经历要求。

(二)报名及资格审查

通过电子邮箱方式(wyzp@hebut.edu.cn)接收报名,报名人员需通过电子邮件向河北工业大学外国语学院招聘邮箱提交个人简历和相关的材料。

申请材料:

(三)测评考核

由河北工业大学外国语学院组成评委会,采取面试、试讲的方式,对其进行综合评价。

(四)体检、公示

经体检、考察合格的,确定为拟聘用人选,在河北工业大学外国语学院网站(https://sfl.hebut.edu.cn/)进行公示,公示期7个工作日。

体检、考察不合格的,取消拟聘人选资格。

拟聘人选确定后,河北工业大学外国语学院需向校人力资源处提供相关材料。审批后,被聘用人员按相关政策规定实行试用期,试用期一并计算在聘用合同期限内。试用期满考核合格的,予以正式聘用,不合格的,取消聘用。

三、待遇

月薪可面议,每周工作量不超过16学时(每学时45分钟)。

提供居留许可,法定社会保险。

Recruitment Announcement for Native English Teachers, School of Foreign Languages, Hebei University of Technology, 2026

 

Hebei University of Technology (HEBUT) is a multidisciplinary university with engineering as its core discipline. Located in Tianjin and under the administration of Hebei Province, it is a key university under China’s “Project 211”. Co-built by the People’s Government of Hebei Province, the People’s Government of Tianjin Municipality and the Ministry of Education, the university was selected as a Tier 1 University under Hebei’s National First-Class University Initiative in 2016. In September 2017, it joined the national Double First-Class Initiative for World-Class Discipline Development, and was re-selected for the new round of the Initiative in 2022.

Founded in 2002, the School of Foreign Languages of HEBUT offers three undergraduate majors: English, Japanese and French, alongside a Master of Translation and Interpreting (MTI) degree program. The English major is accredited as a National First-Class Undergraduate Major, while the French and Japanese majors are recognized as Provincial First-Class Undergraduate Majors of Hebei Province.

The school employs 104 faculty and staff members in total. Among full-time teaching staff, there are 3 professors, 39 associate professors, 18 master’s supervisors and 13 PhD holders. The school currently hosts 430 undergraduate students and 113 MTI postgraduates. Attaching great importance to academic research, the faculty has secured 5 national-level research projects and 18 provincial/ministerial-level projects over the past five years, with established research streams including Applied Linguistics, Foreign Literature and Culture, and Translation Theory and Practice. The school has signed exchange and joint training agreements with numerous world-renowned international universities to cultivate students’ comprehensive abilities, broaden their global vision, and create opportunities for further study and career development.

I. Recruitment Requirements

(1) Basic Qualifications

Candidates shall be physically and mentally sound with a positive demeanor, free of criminal records, infectious diseases and academic misconduct. They must abide by Chinese laws, respect China’s social system and cultural traditions, and refrain from disseminating content that violates Chinese laws, regulations or socialist core values during teaching activities. Candidates shall uphold professional ethics and codes of conduct for teachers, and recognize and comply with the university’s educational philosophy and administrative regulations.

(2) Language Proficiency

Native English speaker.

(3) Academic Background & Work Experience

Possess a master’s degree or above with at least two years of relevant professional experience. Holders of a relevant doctoral degree are exempt from the work experience requirement.

(4) Age Requirement

Under 60 years old (born on or after May 12, 1966).

II. Recruitment Procedures

(2) Application and Eligibility Review

Applications shall be submitted via email to wyzp@hebut.edu.cn. All applicants shall send their CV and supporting documents to the recruitment mailbox of the School of Foreign Languages.

(3) Assessment and Evaluation

A review committee organized by the School of Foreign Languages will conduct a comprehensive assessment via interviews and trial lectures.

(4) Physical Examination and Public Notice

Candidates who pass the physical examination and background review will be designated as proposed appointees, whose information will be posted on the school website (https://sfl.hebut.edu.cn/) for a 7-working-day public notice period. Those failing the physical examination or background review will be disqualified from appointment.

After the proposed appointee list is confirmed, the school will submit relevant documents to the University Human Resources Office for approval. Upon approval, new recruits will serve a probationary period as stipulated by relevant policies, which is included within the term of the employment contract. Candidates who pass the post-probation evaluation will be formally hired; those who fail will have their employment terminated.

III. Compensation and Benefits

· Monthly salary negotiable; maximum weekly teaching workload capped at 16 class hours (45 minutes per class hour).

· Support for residence permit application and statutory social insurance coverage.

· Entitled to statutory paid public holidays observed in China: New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, Qingming Festival, International Workers’ Day, Dragon Boat Festival, National Day, Mid-Autumn Festival, plus other legal holidays as specified by laws and regulations.
